I got my dress! For those who know me well, know I get excited really really easily! It is very hard for me to have something in mind and not buy it, whether it be a shirt or a car. I went dress shopping last week and found a dress that I just knew was "the one". I was so excited and wanted to cancel my other dress appointment I had a few days later, but ultimately decided to go just to be sure. I am glad I did since I found another dress that was "the one". This "one" was much more expensive and fancier than I wanted, but was amazing! I decided to walk around and think about it and then I stumbled on "THE ONE". I tried it on and the search was over, it was a dress I had in my mind from the beginning and made me say dress who about the others! :)
I can't decide if I am more excited about the cruise or the wedding. Oh who am I kidding....THE WEDDING! :) I am getting married!!!!!

To our Drinkers (Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic) :)
Good news, you can bring a bottle of wine or champagne and some bottle waters or sodas if you would like! See the specifics below, taken from Carnivals webite!
A liquor and beverage consumption policy was created in order for Carnival to be able to control the liquor consumption of minors and the quantities consumed that lead to the disruptive behavior of others on board.
Liquor and Beverage Policy
Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation Day:
Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, at the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring on board one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, only in their carry-on luggage. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the steakhouse. (A corkage fee is a charge exacted at a restaurant for every bottle of liquor served that was not bought on the premises)
On embarkation day, guests may bring a small quantity (package of 12 per person) of non-alcoholic beverages onboard, only in their carry-on luggage.
All alcohol/hard liquor/beer (sealed, unopened bottles/cans), wine/champagne over the allowable 1-bottle per guest (sealed, unopened bottles) or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages (over 12 per person, sealed, unopened bottles/cans) will be confiscated and stored for safekeeping until the end of the voyage. The retained item(s) will be delivered to the guest̢۪s stateroom on the last night of the cruise. Unsealed liquids that are prohibited will be discarded, as well as any unclaimed items left after the voyage, and no compensation will be given in either case.

Passport, Smassport...
Just an FYI...
You do not need your passport to come on the cruise! They recommend that you do have your passport just in case there is an emergency and you need to fly from Mexico to home. But it is completely up to you!

Countdown to 9/10/11!
Ready, Set, Wedding! Our wedding date is finally set, 9/10/11! Considering Brien and I are both nerds, I figured the best way to keep in touch with everyone joining us on our adventure is with a blog. Lets just hope I keep this one up longer than my personal blog. :)
I will be posting any updates about our cruise on this site. Once we know any information, activities, or group information we will let you know!
The cruise will leave out of Mobile on 9/10/11 and return on 9/15/11 (Saturday - Thursday). We will be working with a travel agent to arrange payment plans for our guest and will get that information to everyone as soon as I have it!
Oh, and did I mention WAHOOOOO! :)
